Maharashtra sets up tribunal to hear apeal against MahaRERA Rulings

MAHARERA: By virtue of the powers presented by the first provision to sub-section (4) of section 43 of Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (16 of 2016), the government of Maharashtra has set up a tribunal to hear appeal against the rulings of Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA). The responsibility to hear appeals under the said Act, has been designated by the government to Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal, located in Mumbai until the establishment of the Maharashtra Real Estate Appellate Tribunal under section 43 of the said Act.
