MahaRERA: Maharashtra RERA Tribunal exposes false story of a Builder

In a fascinating order, the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) Appellate Tribunal has revealed a cooked up story of a builder.

The controller had at first expelled the case of a home purchaser in November 2017 as the developer had then told the specialist that the home purchaser had gotten ownership in February 2017, even before MahaRERA was notified.

Bhavana Duvey, the home purchaser filed an appeal against the order, and the council has discovered that the builder Teerth Realties had just offered license to carry on fit-outs and he had received the Completion Certificate (CC) just in March 2018.

Hence, the venture fell under the domain of RERA and the court has now requested that MahaRERA hear the case once more.

This makes it amply certain that a builder enabling a home purchaser to do fit-outs prior to accepting Occupancy Certificate would not construe comprehensive possession or delivery.
