Only a few people will know that we can know where and how our Aadhaar card is used as a proof. Since Aadhaar is used to take advantage of many services for authentication, there is always concern about misuse of it. UIDAI, which manages the Aadhaar, has made such a provision, which can be checked from where the use of the Aadhaar is used.

Let’s know about it.

  1. First of all, open the https://resident.uidai.gov.in website and click on the link to visit the Aadhaar Authentication History page.
  2. Now fill in your Aadhaar number and security code. Then click on ‘Generate OTP’. You will receive an OTP on mobile Yes, make sure that you have verified your number on the UIDAI website.
  3. Now you will see the options, which will tell the duration of the information and the number of transactions. After filling your OTP, click on ‘Submit’. In the period you choose, you will know the date, time and type of authentication request. However, the page will not know who made the request.
  4. Now if you find anything suspicious, you can lock the Aadhaar information online and you can also unlock it when you want to use it. While doing all this, take care of the timing linking which is coming closer.
