Gujarat government had long time before notified rules regarding RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) on 29th October 2016 vide notification no. GH/V/197/2016. Based on our source in Gujarat we are hoping that soon the registration will also be granted. According to the central government notification, every promoter needs to get the projects registered. The core purpose of RERA Act is to bring more transparency and reliability in real estate sector so that the rising complaints of stakeholders can be resolved as soon as possible. This Act will also provide a good picture of India’s real estate sector in the global world which may help to boost FDI into the sector. Further, the authority notified is Urban Development and Urban Housing Department Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar with whom the RERA registration will be applied.
